Ipswich Social

During the last week we have been inundated with the guys involved with the build:
- Dive Compressor installation guys
- Electrician x 2
- IT technician
- Engineering
- Shipwright
- Commissioning Team
- Project Manager
They have done a fantastic job working through the snagging list, sometimes we had three or four guys on the boat at any one time. We had a hilarious issue with the washer dryer that would not discharge; it turned out to have a polystyrene packing widget in the pipe. We had two small dings in table tops so they were removed and taken back to Wroxham to be re-sprayed. At the end of the week we had just 5 small things that will be fixed down the track.
And it begins - Andrew can't resist trying to figure out what's wrong with the washer!
We also had visits from the CEO of Oyster and the CEO of our insurance Company.

Alongside all this work we managed to have quite a bit of fun too.

Sandy and Brian dropped by - we met in Fremantle after they sailed in from Cape Town but originate from Ipswich
Ruth & Duncan, Ipswich locals we met diving in the Philippines

Everyday we watched these guys grow with confidence

The sun came out for Nat & Jon's first trip aboard
We weren't sure Jon was going to leave - a Dad and Son bonding moment reviewing electronics!
Two great trips to the Butt & Oyster
Saturday evening we met up with the crew of Irene III, an Oyster 575 which Louis had bought the day before -we celebrated our new boats in style
